Goldmines: Goldmines are the number one way to get gold. The more you have that are fully  upgraded the better because you need gold to upgraded and build defenses, storage and most importantly your town hall.

Gold Storage: This is one of the most important buildings you need. Put with your town hall in the centre of your village. Upgrade it fully to hold more gold.

Elixir Colletor: Elixir Collectors are the number one way to get elixir quick. Put them on the edge of your base to use them as a useful buffer to protect your important buildings.            

 Elixir Storage: Elixir Storage is to be put at the centre of your village. Keep it away from goblins if you want to keep it. Mainly used for troop and spell puposes.

Dark Elixir Drill: Dark Elixir Drills are needed to collect the rare dark elixir. The quickest way to get it however would be to raid.

 Dark Elixir Storage: This is were all that dark elixir is kept. Put in a well defended place inside your base.
